Helen Tunley joined Active as Executive Assistant to Gavyn Davies in February 2004.

She started at Goldman Sachs in 1991 as an assistant on the Equity Derivatives Sales desk. In 1992 she was invited to take up the position of PA to two senior partners in the Economics Department: Gavyn Davies, who was Chief UK Economist, and David Morrison, who was Chief FX Economist –two of the most respected City economists of their time.

In October 2001 Gavyn Davies accepted the position as Chairman of the BBC and asked Helen to join him.

They both left the BBC at the end of January 2004. Since then Helen has helped Gavyn set up various ventures, one of them being Active.

She divides her time between her assistant duties and office and operational management.
